Growing up listening to Hip Hop and overdosing on movies these interests only manifested while growing older; so going to the City of Angels where there's only copious amounts of both you'd think I'd go there first, right? I think the real reason I kept postponing it and going elsewhere was because really deep down inside, I knew I'd only end up in love with the place.
And I was right.
Sunset strip. the first celebrity star.
I'm not gonna lie, I had a smile for hours after seeing that Richard Pryor star. Unquestionably my favourite comedian (Kanye voice) OF ALL TIME! So to see his star first was like a right hook from Tyson.
Also makes a great story for when you end up forgetting where you've parked, you have to spend an half an hour walking up and down that strip looking for Richard Pryor!

"Up in the M.G.M. coked up, Sike!"
Two things on my bucket list to do before I hit the can:
1. Play poker in Vegas
2. Have a coca-cola in the MGM (Research the Raekwon lyric above for reference).
I'm happy to say I managed to both. Berry Nice.
California Love
As well as the movie geeks paradise that is Universal studios, I also got to soak up some of the other treats Los Angeles had to offer like bumpin into Kobe Bryant while chillin on Venice Beach, seeing Kim Kardashian and Leanne Rhymes while being in the audience of 'The Tonight Show with Jay Leno', shopping in Orange County, clubbing out in Sandel Ranch, San Diago's Sea world and so much more.
But one of the definate highlights of the trip was the night of 'Shocktops and Chocolate Brownies' with the extended fam. #Legendary.
All in all it was pretty jam packed, and I still didn't get to see my SoCal crew or the Grand Canyon. But like the old govenor used to say, "I'll be back".
